Happy New Year!!!

My dearest readers,
It is the most magical time of the year n Russia - New Years. Russian people celebrate it big! With a lot of food, drinks, toasts, again drinks and food.
Now that I am not living in Russia anymore, but I do miss those magical nights of eating, drinking, making toasts, giving presents, watching fireworks and the president on TV exactly at 0:00 after the Kremlin clock has made his 12 bells.

That is why I want you to enjoy these beautiful table setting that I found at one of the blogs I read from time to time - Ferm Living

Let your new year be better than the one that has passed. Make your dreams come true! Enjoy your New Years! And make in BIG! Just like in a far away Russia!

Feeling of living outside

Today we came across this very interesting project at Punta del Este, Uruguay by KallosTurin Architects. The villa is remarkably transparent. There are many places where you can stand and look straight through it.  The decor is pretty bare, with an emphasis on austere wooden benches and furniture design.
To me this villa has a feeling of being outside all the time.

“Keep things as simple as possible”, was one of the wishes of the family to KallosTurin Architects who designed and decorated. The mission statement also included that the buildings would blend in with the surrounding undulating meadow landscape. The house is designed to inspire people to appreciate nature and embrace a desire to slow down, take walks, sit by the fireplace, eat, drink, “explains architect Stephania Kallos, who led the work.

Unlimited Space (Ceramic House) - by Héctor Ruiz-Velázquez

In the attic of an emblematic building of classical early 20th century Madrid, this new concept of living space is placed: UNLIMITED SPACE (Ceramic House) is presented by architect Héctor Ruiz-Velázquez and built out of total freedom of layers.

GT House - by Guilherme Torres

Lately I've been fascinated by Studio Guilherme Torres.

I'd like to introduce to you, this unconventional building used to house an artist painting and has recently been rebuilt in a fashionable home for life.

GT House is located in Brazil and was inspired by Paulo Mendes da Rocha, a Brazilian architect who won the Pritzker Prize in 2006.

This extraordinary housing costs were low by $6,000.00 U, but there is a living room, bedroom, kitchen and bathroom.

The interior is designed using modern furniture in unique solutions. This modern house might look a bit rustic, but it is certainly an innovative design for comfortable living.

Home Office of the week: Archipod

If you'd like to have your own home office, and you'd like to make it a bit more original, then this might be something for you:

The garden furniture from Archipod.

This small design office home offers you a unique shape of a sphere, which may be in the garden courtyard. Made of prefabricated wooden structure, this small house can be very useful in the studio, guest house, children's playroom, home office, and many others.

The unusual design is spherical with Western Red Cedar shingles and a very nice wooden door with a hinged top, which give a very modern look. This rustic home decor wood is very modern, fully plastered, so you can decorate it depends on the style.

Rooms for Teenagers

I collected some nice ideas to design teenage rooms, which I'd like to share with you..

The next room is more about the whole picture. I like the bookshelves, the wall decoration, the chair..
Basically everything....

The next bedroom is meant for a real princess:

Now the next example may be a bad one:

When the desk is used as a bedside table, you may wonder if any homework is getting done there..

What if you're daughter keeps your bath occupied every single evening, and you don't get a chance to take a bath yourself? Just give your daughter her own bath :-)

I'm not sure if I'd be able to sleep in this next bedroom, but is surely looks good! Message: Dare to use colors! (Or don't) I actually don't know what the message is.
