Great Escape: River Moon RIver Villa in Ubud, Bali

Welcome to Bali! 

If you know me a bit than you know I am in LOVE with Bali! 

Today I have found this villa, which is situated just outside of Ubud, the most creative, spiritual and artistic cities in Bali. 

I love coming to Bali and especially to Ubud and actually wish to visit this place in summer 2012.

Lets see, maybe dreams DO come true if you really really wish for it :)

 River Moon is a two bedroom self-catering villa accommodating up to four people. The spacious light filled rooms have a modern aesthetic with traditional accents such as the cooling alang alang roofs. Large windows and sliding doors open up onto expansive terraces make River Moon an exemplar of outdoor/indoor living.

 River Moon is part of the Desa Bulan (Moon Village) enclave of six houses designed by Martje Nietzman and Erik van der Linden.

Rates? About 120 euro per day. ;)

Tree house - Los Angeles

This Tree house is located near Los Angeles. I've seen better interiors, but the house itself is really interesting. 

Rockefeller as an architect, originally didn't get the order by this client to design a house this magnificent. Some design elements also have been developed in different contexts, such as a striking butterfly rooflines. 

What I like most about it all:

Outside, walking quickly down the stairs it leads you to the protected and private outdoor shower.

House For Sale: The John Ewbank Villa

This amazing villa is currently owned by one of the most successful composers in the Netherlands. 

More about this talented artist:

John Ewbank (born 6 December 1968, Eastleigh, Hampshire) is a British-Dutch composer, lyricist and record producer.

He wrote/produced a record number of eighteen #1 Dutch Top 40 hit singles, of which fourteen were for Marco Borsato, for whom he has been producing and writing since 1994. They sold over four million albums together in the Benelux. Other local artists include Ferry Corsten, Trijntje Oosterhuis, Van Velzen, Esmée Denters, Gordon Heuckeroth, Paul de Leeuw, Rob de Nijs, Nikki, Hero, Maud, and Tim Immers.

Take a good look at the stairs, I wish I could have a railing like that in my house! Anyone out there who has one spare?

The garden furniture from Archipod. 

This small design office home offers you a unique shape of a sphere, which may be in the garden courtyard. Made of prefabricated wooden structure, this small house can be very useful in the studio, guest house, children's playroom, home office, and many others. 

The unusual design is spherical with Western Red Cedar shingles and a very nice wooden door with a hinged top, which give a very modern look. This rustic home decor wood is very modern, fully plastered, so you can decorate it depends on the style.
